FEB 2025 - letter from the president

Dear Members and Friends of TechRochester,

As February comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the resilience and determination that defines our community. I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our members and the dedication of our Board, whose collaborative spirit continues to drive our success.

We are actively planning our 25th Anniversary year! Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for our Made in ROC series, kicking off in March. This is a showcase of local innovation and the incredible technology being developed right here in Rochester. This is the first event in a new series you won’t want to miss, as we highlight the creativity, talent, and cutting-edge advancements happening in our own backyard. Our guest speaker in March is Annette Warren, President of iSecure. In addition to leading iSecure, Annette is also a past recipient of our Technology Woman of the Year Award! In addition to celebrating 25 years of TechRochester, we are also celebrating another very special milestone —the 25th Anniversary of our Technology Woman of the Year Awards! For a quarter of a century, this prestigious award has celebrated the outstanding contributions of women in technology who are making a lasting impact in our community. I want to give a special thank you to TR board member Paul Gebel - TWY Event Lead, and his hardworking team of community volunteers, who have been diligently planning this signature event.
